The House Education & Spirituality San Jose located in Coto Dorda, building owned by the diocese and led the rector de la Caridad, Francisco Montesinos, opens its doors on Friday October 29 after undergoing a restoration process that has led to an improvement facilities usually welcome students and institutions as a place of spiritual reflection and encounter.
On the occasion of the reopening, the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes, and the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, will open the House at an event will take place at 11.00 hours.
The action that has taken place in the House of Spiritual Retreat Dorda Coto has been the preparation of the 24 rooms of the building, which lacked toilet and air conditioning and improved electrical system and the garden surrounding the property.
The House also has three classrooms, a chapel, kitchen and dining room.
Work began in January and cost the same, amounting to half a million euros, was funded jointly by the Diocese, the Foundation Restoy Zamora and anonymous contributions.
