A photograph of Moses Ruiz Cantero announced Cartagena Easter 2011.
The selection jury, comprised of representatives from the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena and the Board of Brotherhoods of Semana Santa, chose last night after looking at the thirty works for the contest.
By the City were the director and the coordinator of Culture, and by the Board of guilds, the shortfin brother, Jose Miguel Mendez, along with members of the brotherhood art commission.
The poster was selected anonymously, and that all work is presented in a sealed envelope with a motto.
The snapshot shows the throne of the Virgin of Solitude carried on their shoulders, passing by the church of Charity.
As you may recall the contest established as a compulsory subject for this edition of the mako processions of Easter Monday, Good Friday night, the night of Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
Moses Ruiz has already been on several occasions the author of other posters announcing Easter Cartagena, since it is a photographer who knows how to capture as few environment and the essence of the shows passion.
The artist will receive a prize of 1,500 euros and the poster will go to press in the coming days, for presentation at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid.
