The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, inaugurated this morning the newly restored Casa de Los Dolores Rabe, a building that today houses the municipal services provided to residents of the neighborhood of Cartagena, such as the Office of Consumer Affairs, Social Services and the SKIP.

With the implementation of the three municipal services in Los Dolores Palma, Barreiro explained that there have been two very important things.

One is to continue working on the decentralization of services the council in every district and county councils.

And second, to retrieve a unique house that was in danger of being lost completely and has achieved a great rehabilitation consistent with the proper design of the house.

Moreover, added the mayor, these works have been performed with the City Council's own resources, through a training workshop for Local Development Agency and Employment.

These have included restoration work on the demolition, cleaning and packaging of the parcel outside of this housing, maintaining its Arab decorative feature, the cover has been arranged, plastering the ground and renewed its facilities.

The budget that has had this restoration, by the departments of Youth and Decentralization and the neighborhood, has been a total of 168,000 euros.
