Izquierda Unida (IU) has tabled an amendment to the General State Budget for 2011 by requesting the creation of a departure for the construction of a parking lot next to the railway station in Cartagena.

The coordinator of IU in the port city, Jaime Cayetano Molto, has indicated that users of the space station just have to park their cars or waiting for passengers, which could be solved with the construction of a parking lot.

Molto Jaime has proposed that the location for this facility is the floor of the south side of the station, which currently has no use and free transfers to a rental company to house its fleet vehicles.
