For about a month, have begun work on improving the sewerage system in urban services and replacement of the surface of the Plaza Bohemia, La Manga del Mar Menor.
The project, which has a deadline of six months and a budget of 436,500 euros award, is part of concerted actions by the City of Cartagena through the Local Investment Fund.
The purpose of this action is to address the inadequacy of the sewer in this area of La Manga during episodes of rain that causes flooding, and the gentle slope of the current collectors that hinders water drainage and creates odors.
This will build a new network of drains and scuppers are replaced in the area for a separate network of sewage and other stormwater.
You can expand and replace sections, and installed new connections to homes with symphonic elements to prevent odors.
Finally, the area will provide a new pumping station with a new settling pit located in the parking area, five feet deep, below the water table.
The project will conclude with a revival of urban services, including the asphalting of the streets and the paving of the square, eliminating the various existing architectural barriers, trying to leave the area to the same level.
