From Cartagena Local Police informed cut traffic on Calle Ramón y Cajal, from Calle Jorge Juan (Corte Inglés) to Calle Poeta Miguel Hernández (Mercadona) from Monday 18th October.
The cut is motivated by the commencement of the works to improve water and sewerage network in this area and will take approximately three months in this first installment.
Thus the intersection of Calle Jorge Juan and Calle Ramón y Cajal just at the intersection with the roundabout at the English Court will be closed to traffic and vehicles may not turn right.
In turn, will be completely closed to traffic crossing with Calle Ramón y Cajal Poeta Miguel Hernández, so that vehicles may not be moved to Enrique Martínez Muñoz street because they change the direction of movement in that stretch of road.
On the other hand, will be partially closed to traffic, with the occupation of a traffic lane crossing with Calle Ramón y Cajal Doctor Barraquer, leaving this stretch just opened for the passage of residents and service personnel, which shall be marked with a signpost to the top of the street.
Also, stay marked as dead end street crossings Puyol with Canigó Street and Henry Street and Calle Martínez Muñoz Valle Inclán, preventing vehicular access to Calle Ramon y Cajal in order to facilitate the transition to neighboring the area.
As for the cross street of Calle Enrique Martínez Muñoz Poeta Miguel Hernández will be closed to traffic to prevent vehicles from accessing Calle Ramón y Cajal.
The Juan Fernández Street roundabout, just before road access Jorge Juan direction Corte Ingles, in order to make more effective the ban will indicate alternative signaling pathway.
The work will affect the number 1 bus line, so the stops are moved to the same height but Carmen Conde street.
