The Municipal Institute of Social Services began on Monday 18 October, manual building workshops aimed at children aged 7 to 12 years in the neighborhoods of San Antón, Las Lomas neighborhood of Albujón and Four Saints, courses will run until June 2011.
These workshops are in marked in the proposed municipal leisure spaces, which are created in order to offer a wider range of activities in different districts of the municipality and reach the largest possible number of children.
Moreover, these spaces offer positive alternatives to foster personal development and provide opportunities which encourage attitudes relationship of cooperation, solidarity and responsibility.
Manual building workshops are held Monday through Thursday, are aimed at children and adolescents and are organized into two homogeneous age groups at different hours, and a maximum of 15 participants in each group:
Group I (7-9 years), between 17:00 and 18:15 h.
Group II (10-12 years), between 18:15 and 19:30
