Social Care Councilman of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon, participated last week in the Commission on Integration and Social Cohesion of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, at its meeting in the town of Morella (Castellón).
This committee consists of 25 members, all mayors and councilors of municipalities in Spain among them is that of Cartagena, and, in the touring, meets every two months at the headquarters of the municipalities that are part of the same "Last year was held in our city, addressing issues related to the migratory process, EU reports, studies, roots and reunion situations, among others.
In this vein, the commission has again assumed a pooling of the operating principles and models of immigration management of local entities.
In this way, it generates opportunities for reflection and meetings that promote exchange of experiences, prevent risk and improve coexistence among citizens in the local environment.
Along with Antonio Calderon and other representatives of the municipalities that make up this Committee was told on this occasion with the assistance of a member of the Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistence, state public sector entity whose goals are to promote religious freedom to cooperate with confessions minority and create a framework of coexistence.
