About a hundred women from Cartagena, San Javier and Los Alcazares participated Thursday in a course on Prevention of Gender Violence organized by the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Cartagena (Thaderconsumo) within the programmed activities to celebrate the November 25th International Day Against Violence Against Women.
The opening of the course, which took place at CIM old, was given by the Director General of Prevention of Violence and Juvenile Reform, Teresa Moreno, and the Councillor for Women's Hall of Cartagena and Rosario Montero, who highlighted work being carried out for the start-up, probably later this year, the Protocol of collaboration that will improve the situation of victims of such violence.
Among the benefits to be gained with this performance, highlighted the creation of unique computer database of victims, professionals with more specialized and more efficient mechanisms of information.
The first lecture course on the prevention of gender violence was led by psychologist Pilar Galindo Piñana.
