Employment Workshop Care Unit, sponsored by the Agency of Local Development and Employment, last Friday organized a visit to the facility which has the Association for the Integration of Disabled Persons of the Comarca del Mar Menor (Aideman).
The students of the workshop, accompanied by administrative and teaching staff of the same, had the opportunity to meet the Day Care Center, the Sheltered Housing, Occupational Center and Special Employment Centre Aideman, check with which he met several goals: the type of services offered to users as well as the organization and workflow, know the equipment they have different centers, see the methodology and specifics of working with disabled people, and to learn the professional disciplines that make up the team Aideman work, in order to be eligible professional to join this team.
So much for the benefits to students, and as for those responsible for Aideman, this visit they were also useful because it showed them the broad qualification that they are getting the participants in the workshop with a view to future personal choices that may perform.
Remember that the employment workshop began in December 2009 and aims at training 32 unemployed persons as assistants health and social care to dependent people in social institutions and subsequent job placement.
It is funded by the Agency of Local Development and Employment of Cartagena, the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the European Union through the European Social Fund.
