The Councillor for Infrastructure and Services, José Vicente Albaladejo, reported that the City of Cartagena built in the next two months, a sidewalk for pedestrians and bicycles to join the new FEVE halt of the Hospital of St. Lucia.
The project, according to the councilman, has been sent to procurement and will be tendered in the coming days with a budget of around € 70,000.
The delay in its bid is due by the mayor that it was unclear who would pay for the works.
Albaladejo has explained that this sidewalk would be financed initially by the City and LVEF, which created this new order to halt operation of the Hospital, but has finally given up and the session who will take care of it.
Infrastructure Councilman pointed out that this action is part of the measures being put in place the City Council to facilitate access to the new Health Centre.
Just today, Friday, coinciding with the entry into service the first consultation, has begun work this morning the bus line linking the square with the Hospital Bastarreche every 15 minutes.
Also explained that they will create a pedestrian sidewalk from the street communication minaret near the old morgue Serfusa in Lo Campano.
