Effective Fire-Fighting Service of the City of Cartagena suffocated this morning the fire in a seafood restaurant, situated at Santiago de Santa Lucia.
The incident occurred about 6.55 hours in the kitchen area, apparently a breeding ground for shellfish.
Firefighters gained access to the premises by an adjoining bar, the same owner, who was reported inside and after locating the fire, proceeded to extinction and ventilation.
The intervention lasted 45 minutes and involved two vehicles and eight firefighters, and four local police officers.
