Organised by the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena and Murcia Sailing Federation, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, from 9 to 11 October, will be held in the waters of the bay of Cartagena I Trofeo Ciudad de Cartagena (XXI Trofeo SAR Infanta Cristina) of the Optimist class.

The test will bring together national and international teams, with a total of 200 sailors.

For this reason it is expected the arrival of some 800 people to hotels in the city during this time, as athletes, mostly under 15, come with their parents.

Sources within the organization have stressed the commitment to continue joining the sport of sailing to the city of Cartagena to the organization of events like this, destined to become one of the highest projection in the coming years, and that is supported by the fact that the city has been the Audi MedCup in the last three years.
