Forty Mall stores open in the historic center of San Fernando Street and the shopping center Cenit participate from Friday 1 October to Monday, October 4, the first Fair Trade Outlet in Cartagena, to be held in the Plaza Juan XXIII, organized by the city of Cartagena, the general direction of Trade and Handicraft of the Autonomous Community, the Federation of Small and medium businesses of Cartagena.
As explained by the councilman of Commerce, Javier Herrero, this is an initiative has been very successful in cities such as Murcia, San Javier or Lorca.
Visitors will find in the stands an extensive range of products from jewelry, fashion accessories, footwear, sports, and clothing from leading brands at discount prices that may reach more than 60% of their usual price.
The fair will open on Friday at 12 noon by the director general of Commerce, Julio José Lorenzo, along with the councilman of Commerce, Javier Herrero, and will remain open until Monday. The hours will be from 10.00 to 22.00 hours , except on Monday, ending at 19.00 hours for traders to begin withdrawing its material.
There will be no break at noon in order to facilitate purchases to customers who work and thus can take advantage of the midday break.
During the weekend there will be various activities in the plaza of John XXIII to encourage the fair.
On Saturday, both morning and afternoon, there will be an exhibition of Trialbici by Raul Martinez, while on Sunday there will be balloon twisting and makeup workshops for children.
Also take advantage of the arrival of two cruise ships to distribute leaflets at the port.
This initiative is part of various campaigns that the traders carry out in order to boost sales and attract customers to the center of the city and the traditional shops.
