Cartagena City Council held in plenary on Tuesday, September 28.
The meeting, an ordinary, shall be chaired by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and will begin at ten o'clock in the Palace Hall.
Among the various issues that comprise the agenda is the initial approval of the municipal ordinance governing the loan system for bicycles, Bicity.
As explained by the council for Sustainable Development, Isaiah Camarzana, this rule is to regulate the new automated system that will start the next day.
It sets the hours and conditions to register with the service, which as a novelty will be free.
The plenum also discussed the final approval of a Special Plan for the construction of a building in a parking lot located between Arch Street and Knight Charity.
We also examined another special plan that affects a lot situated at San Cristobal, Beatas corner, for the conservation of archaeological remains found in the subsoil, by compensating for a height more through an attic recessed.
Another issue being discussed in the plenary will be the amendment of General Plan in the streets Sóller, Mahon and Ciudadadela.
This is a field located behind the UNED and qualified as educational equipment.
The amendment raises its reclassification as a generic hardware, with development and transfer of parkland to the City, all conditional on the report to the Department of Education about the needs of equipment in the area.
Finally, and among other matters on the agenda, the full plans to analyze the general account of the City of Cartagena, for the year 2009.
After the agenda will address the various initiatives of local groups of PSOE and Citizen Movement in the form of motions, requests and questions.
