Cartagena City Council has agreed with the unions present in the negotiating table minimum municipal services general strike next Wednesday, September 29.
As reported by the finance council, Recruitment and Personnel, Jose Cabezas, services have already been enacted and will affect 45 staff, plus staff from the local police.
With these minimum services is to harmonize the right of municipal workers who wish to exercise that day strike, with the interest which represents the essential services of local government to citizens.
Most of the minimum services have been enacted in the fire service, which will remain operational in their jobs 19 people, and in the eight local primary schools, where there will be one person in each one of them.
There will be minimal services in Human Resources, Treasurer, Registrar General, Municipal Warehouse, Data Processing Center, Cultural Center, Traffic Signal Maintenance Brigade, Brigade Public Works Statistics, Office of Citizen Services, Building Department La Milagrosa Women.
