Local police officers arrested on the afternoon of Saturday, September 18, an individual 32 years of age who had tried to attack them with a knife when cached, after starring in a scuffle and several threats in the street Asan Cristobal Long.
The incident took place about a quarter past three pm, when officers were required to be drawn to the Old Town street where a fight was occurring.
Upon arrival they found the involved arguing with another person, who upon seeing the officers went to them to complain that he had been threatened with a knife, demanding ten euros as a condition for not attacking him.
When officers cached the aggressor, he squirmed and pulled a knife from his belt with which he tried to reach the agents, while the insult.
The implied reduced and was finally handcuffed, was putting great resistance when introduced into the police vehicle, kicking and trying to bite into the arms at the officers.
Two women were in the vicinity of the victim corroborated the version, while they also signed to have been victims of threats that afternoon by the involved.
