Area Youth of the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena opened the 2010-2011 academic year and has done so welcoming, from the hand of the Councillor, Ruth Collins, the four new European Volunteers, young foreigners of different nationalities run until July next year the project Cartagena, Converging Hall, funded by the European Youth in Action.
After being received on Friday by the Councillor for Youth, volunteers had a first contact with the programs that will help.
Anna, Latvia, assist the program Implica2, Victor, of Germany Youth Correspondent program and the T-LA, Philipp, also German, will support the BI Bag Languages, and guided the Italian volunteer, collaborate with Botica del Libro.
In order to facilitate the integration and adaptation of European volunteers of the Youth Space, Implica2 program, part of the Municipal Volunteer Program, and GUIA2 created two years ago, a project that brings together local volunteers the newcomers so that they serve as hosts in their early days in our city.
In its third year, GUIA2 has found a warm welcome by youth who, after the meeting of presentation, taste some tapas and walked around the city knowing our sights and enjoying the atmosphere of the festival of Carthaginians and Romans.
Remember that the European Youth in Action program allows you to develop a volunteer project, so selflessly collaborating with local entities, it also represents a personal enrichment, cultural, and language.
