The Department of Education has released the school calendar year 2010-2011, which sets out the different weekdays and holidays and vacation periods of the schools in the municipality of Cartagena.
This is a desktop calendar free distribution.
They have published some 5,000 copies are being distributed among the hundreds of schools in the municipality and parents associations.
As reflected in this calendar holidays in schools are:
October 12 National Day. November 1, All Saints. December 6, Constitution Day. December 8, the Immaculate Conception. March 19, San Jose. May 2, Monday following the Labour Day . June 9, Day of the Region of Murcia.
The Christmas holidays will be from 23 December to 6 January inclusive.
The Easter holidays, from 18 to 25 April inclusive.
There will be school calendar school day by December 7, bridge school.
Will be school holidays:
November 22, Santa Cecilia, in the conservatories.
November 26, party ahead of San José de Calasanz (November 27), in nursery, primary and special. January 28, Santo Tomás de Aquino, in secondary education and official language school.
January 31, San Juan Bosco, optional for high school.
Non-school festivities will be local in nature:
September 24, Carthaginians and Romans. April 15, Good Friday.
Finally no school shall also elected Municipal School Board:
October 11. 7 January. 7 March.
