The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment has given aid to the city of Cartagena in excess of three million euros for development projects supporting the creation of 106 new jobs and revitalize the labor market in the municipality.
The holder of Employment, Sotoca Constantine explained that an important part of the investment, over two million, is earmarked for the development and implementation of joint training activities, employment and training to facilitate job in the municipality .
In this regard, he announced that in the fourth quarter will start the school workshop the stop, with capacity for 43 unemployed and students train in specialties such as masonry, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and gardening.
This training is supplemented by rehabilitation work in the old station in the neighborhood train Peral and gardens of the Garden of the ball.
In the last quarter also will launch a workshop on use of the care system in the classroom, to train 40 unemployed personal skills and social autonomy.
The counselor also noted that the aid will enable the City to hire 23 unemployed to promote services of general interest, such as improving the local content, promotion of resources for empowering youth and enhancing digital services for the city, when it invested almost € 750,000.
Investments include a specific allocation to maintain local development agencies, which assist in the promotion and implementation of active employment policies and the work of counselors 'Opeas', facilitating job placement.
Sotoca concluded that the investment "not only favor the direct creation of employment, but contribute to the development and progress of the municipality" and recalled that this year the Ministry has allocated a total of 27.7 million euros for all municipalities in the region.
