The director general of Family and Children of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Laura Muñoz, and the councilman of Social Services of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon,
Wednesday visited, the children of the Children's Home of Carthage in La Manga del Mar Menor.
Children's Home of Cartagena has a facility in the area of the Gola of La Manga del Mar Menor, where every year they move in the summer with children who are received by this institution, under the Directorate General of Family and under the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
25 children aged 1 to 6 years, so spend the summer performing activities appropriate to their age.
For it has 6 educators and a group of volunteers who help in this task as important as education through the game of love and, typical of this stage of his life.
Among the volunteers stands a young Moroccan teacher who came to the peninsula as a child in the basement of a truck and was placed in a group home.
Now with 25 years devoted their vacation time to volunteer work with children in these centers.
