The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, has expressed regret at the death of Ricardo Alarcon, director of the Institute Jiménez de la Espada, who died in yesterday afternoon.
The first municipal authority has shown its sympathy to the bereaved family and said that Richard leaves a deep impression on us for their human qualities, the memory of a great professional work and many projects that put his hopes and efforts and we continue defending in his memory.
Ricardo Alarcón Buendía, professor of Latin, developed an intense teaching throughout his life and was particularly active at the forefront of the educational community of Jiménez de la Espada Institute and the School of Hospitality.
He was also a close collaborator in the development of local educational projects.
