The Directorate General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control Autonomous Region has submitted a report explaining that all landfills in the region collect sanctioning mismanagement.
However, landfill is the Mina Regent of Cartagena who accumulates the highest number of disciplinary procedures, namely, five.
From UPyD-Cartagena and show last October, our concern for the malfunction of the landfill, and puzzled by the fact that the Regent Mine dump, designed to be in service for 15 years, had silted up in just 5 .
Now check, after the disciplinary proceedings, that the irregularities persist without significant changes noted in its management, under the Department of Infrastructure of the City of Cartagena.
The Consistory allows large companies awarded for basic city services amok at the expense of the pockets of Cartagena, but does not hesitate to raise the price of water and garbage bill without requiring the minimum guarantees that prompted the award.
We therefore demand greater control again and the adoption of appropriate measures for proper use covering all environmental safeguards.
