The NGOs involved on the work of local police to the city (26/07/2010)

Local Police today unveiled its Cartagena NGOs involved, a nonprofit organization formed just a week ago and has, so far, with about thirty volunteers.

Thus, try to follow the steps initiated by the Fire Brigade and Civil Protection in volunteering at all levels and local priority.

Assistance and help to families and injured in traffic accidents, as well as collaboration with the platforms and programs and Road Safety Education for the prevention of accidents.

Collaboration with other NGOs, with the city of Cartagena and other public authorities, care and assistance to the poorest sectors of society (immigrants, children, elderly, etc ...).

Participation in road safety plans and programs of assistance to traffic accident victims.

To fulfill these goals will promote and organize public information activities and volunteerism, participation in sports and social levels which demands the participation of the association, and the completion and creation of advertising programs for public awareness on the role police and accident reduction.

Initially, the NGOs involved are born with an open call in order to involve as many people belonging to the Security Forces of the State can help them achieve their goals, but the original idea of the local police in Cartagena, is Park-based Security, and its scope is the municipality.
