The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, Councillor of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Javier Herrero, and President of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) in the regional delegation, Manuel Barón, today delivered the plate Q Quality Tourism to the restaurant El Parador del Mar Menor, located in La Manga, the quality of their services, infrastructure and equipment.
With this new accession, the municipality of Cartagena reaches a total of 24 certified establishments, among which include four restaurants, four travel agencies, two campgrounds, three hotels, a tourist office and 10 beaches.
Marina Garcia recalled that today the Murcia Region has 25 restaurants with the Q for Quality, which accounts for 23 percent of establishments and organizations certified in the Autonomous Community (108).
He also said, "The region ranks fourth nationally in number of distinctions concerning the catering services, ranking only behind the Basque Country, with 59, 28 and Asturias Andalusia with 26."
Similarly, the director general of Tourism congratulated the workers and restaurant owners for their efforts in meeting the requirements imposed by the rule Q for Quality, "a brand that ensures the prestige, differentiation, reliability and rigor of the establishment. "
