Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez, visited this morning the work being undertaken to provide the field with artificial turf municipal Zamora Juan Ă ngel Garden City, look at who was accompanied by the manager of the Municipal Sports, Eduardo Armada.
On the ground, were able to monitor and check the progress of the upgrading works for the installation of this type of grass, work to date have involved the cleaning and removal of bleachers, and lighting vallaje old and the adaptation field.
In this sense, Gómez was pleased with the progress of this action, which in recent days is focusing on the ground filled with gravel, which is appropriate for this type of artificial turf, and the work of evacuation water, creating the proper slope to prevent soil to puddle when it rains.
The last thing you do prior to placement of sod, which is approximately in just over a month, will compact the ground and condition of irrigation pumps and that, despite being artificial, this grass also needs water.
The idea is that by next year, these facilities, along with those of El Algar, are working.
Both actions are included within the Plan E and were awarded to the company González Soto, amounting to some 400,000 euros each.
