During the days 13, 14 and July 15, La Mar de Letras perform a literary tour through the city in search of Macondo, Macondo as fictitious place where it develops the work of Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez, his language generator, scene for Magic Realism.
After Macondo is meant both as a route for 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' but after Macondo we want to update the current literature in Colombia, the new language, narrative trends, the most important voices.
In this journey in search of Macondo through our streets no missing textures, tastes, smells, sights and, of course, sounds that remind us of Colombia and founded our sister Caribbean city Cartagena de Indias.
