The students of the Pipiripao Early Childhood School have made, today Friday, April 27, a time capsule.
In it, the children of the different courses have stored objects, which have been buried afterwards so that they remain unchanged for up to 25 years, at which time they will be recovered.
The activity is framed in the homage acts for the XXV Anniversary of the Center.
The act was attended by the mayor of Education, Youth and Culture, David Martinez, who has also deposited a memory, representing the City of Cartagena, in the capsule of time.
Children, teachers, parents and alumni of the Pipiripao, have introduced different objects, such as photographs, letters, toys and books in the "magic box" that makes up the time capsule.
After this capsule has been buried so that its content remains unchanged for 25 years.
It will be in celebration of the 50th anniversary of this educational institution when the students recover the contents of the box and can see first-hand how their former colleagues were, as well as the books and toys with which they learned and had fun.
During the activity, the children, who wore birthday wreaths, have blown the candles on two birthday cakes, with which they celebrated the silver wedding of the school.
To finalize the act, the councilman of Culture, David Martínez, along with children, parents and teachers has planted an orange tree next to the Capsule of Time, the growth of this tree will also symbolize the passage of time.
