Cartagena will continue celebrating the International Dance Day this weekend.

On Saturday, April 28 at 10.00 pm, the Cartagena Professionals Gala will take place in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, giving continuity to the activities programmed by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, under the coordination of Margarita Amante, Director of the Study of Dance and Movement.

Also, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento on Saturday 28 at 5:30 p.m. and at 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday 29 at 11:00 p.m., a dance marathon will be held, with more than 80 dances from all modalities: Latin, flamenco, classical, contemporary and oriental dance, among others, and will have the participation of a hundred students and professionals of the discipline.

On April 29, the date on which the International Dance Day is commemorated, will sound throughout Europe, the words of the artistic director of the Batsheva Dance Company, the Israeli Ohad Naharin, "the dance can be sublime, even if it is far from be perfect
