The Municipal Group of Citizens in Cartagena has defended today a motion to fight with determination the increase of crimes against the patrimony and the deterioration of neighborhood coexistence related to illegal occupations in the municipality.
The proposal has not gone ahead by the vote against PSOE and PODEMOS.
Manuel Padín lamented the refusal, "today we have lost an opportunity to put a stop to it before this problem gets out of hand".

The proposal of Cs requested the reinforcement of the police presence and the preventive patrolling in the zones affected by the problem of the occupation and that in the maximum term of three months the works begin for the elaboration of a census of occupied houses quantitative and qualitative , where the type of occupation is indicated, "clearly differentiating the mafia occupations of the people who carry them out for reasons of necessity".
