This morning, the president of MC Cartagena, Jesús Giménez, referred to the request of the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peńalver, urging the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) to proceed, as soon as possible, to eviction and the delivery of the building that houses the student residence to expand the facilities of the autonomous parliament.
Giménez lamented "the lack of understanding of the president by not assuming that what is happening with the residence Alberto Colao has little to do with the magnificent management of the successive rectors of the UPCT, but with the nefarious management and financing that the PP and the rest of the parties with a voice in the Regional Assembly offer to the Cartagena university ".
The Cartagena leader has criticized the scarce regional contribution to help "in the splendor and knowledge that the educational institution demonstrates in all its actions."
"The Polytechnic University is a leader nationally and internationally, has continued to report, but is limited because politicians are not able to see that in R & D & I is the future, not of this Region, but of all state".
"From MC we support a university that generates entrepreneurship and wealth and that works on the problems of our citizens, today, for example, we will attend the presentation of a study on the contamination of the Mar Menor and technologies that can improve agri-food activity", has added.
