The spokesman of Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, has met with a large group of residents of the Residential Buenos Aires, in Molinos Marfagones, to explain the actions that the Municipal Group has made to try to respond to their demands and analyze them the current situation of this urbanization.
The meeting took place in the garage of one of the built blocks, "because they do not even have a center or a room to meet, this Group refuses to leave these neighbors dumped who bought a protected home in the Finca Buenos Aires and let them without future expectations to improve their quality of life, "said Manuel Padín.
The neighbors reported that they met last Monday with the councilman of Services, Juan Pedro Torralba and that he assured them that in a week the street lighting would be operational that stopped working a few weeks ago after the massive theft of copper connections.
The Socialist councilor also committed to them to fix certain problems related to the sewerage, and that would talk to the company Alsa to extend line 6 to the marquee that exists at the entrance of the urbanization.

Manuel Padín hopes that in a few weeks, the basic services of Buenos Aires are covered, and has assured that his Group will continue working from the City Council and the Regional Assembly so that, in the medium term, the rest of the claims: the construction of a roundabout access to the intersection with the RM 332, the creation of a bike lane or cycle track until Molinos Marfagones, elements of road safety and other essential equipment are a reality.
In favor of the construction of a school
Some of the neighbors who met yesterday with the councilor of Cs, said that the Consistory should resume, facilitate and promote the construction of an educational center in one of the plots available in the area.
Residents recalled that there is demand and remember some educational projects for the area since 2013;
consider that its realization would be a strong revulsive to revitalize and develop the residential as the City could condition through a public tender the transfer of land to the realization of many of the things they are claiming.
The neighbors consider that they are trapped in a loop that harms them and defend that the arrival of infrastructures will be an attraction to relaunch the sale of flats in the area.
In his opinion, they can not wait for the real estate market to improve in order to give life to urbanization, so it is necessary to look for forceful actions to push and attract new neighbors.
"This question, which we think is very interesting, could have been addressed in the first session of that ill-fated work table, so we will have to look for other alternatives, in any case we will not abandon those citizens to their fate."
