The Councilor for Education, David Martínez Noguera, criticized on Tuesday the announcement made yesterday by the Ministry of suppression of Baccalaureate teaching at the Polytechnic Institute of Cartagena.
As pointed out by the mayor "the dismantling of the education system by the central government continues without even repairing the damage it is assuming for citizenship."
Martínez Noguera recalled that the pre-registration period has now ended and that now imposing this measure is an "irresponsibility" on the part of the regional government.
"To abolish the Baccalaureate in a center like the Polytechnical IES at this point of the course is not of receipt because it is more than probable that many of the students are left without a place.
The Ministry is condemning the students of Baccalaureate of the Polytechnic IES to not find a place, not only in its center but in none ".
The mayor has highlighted the fact that it is a center in which not only works very well the Bachelor, but "both the management of the center and the teachers are very involved with the students and do a great job promoting integration" .
