This Wednesday, April 25, the novel "Nocturnes: stories of sex and death" (Editorial Dokusou), by the author Claude Lalumière, is presented at the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The presentation of the work, which is framed in the activities programmed in the project "Read, think, imagine" by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, will have as a guest the author of it, Claudie Lalumière, newcomer of the convention Italian DeepCon 19, where he has been guest of literary honor.
If we talk about this renowned author it is impossible to avoid thinking about 'Tones of black', 'Nocturnas' and 'Strange tales of sex and death', the titles that encompass the stories in which the author, in a direct and forceful way, deals with the themes of sex and death.
Stories that flirt with the black genre, crime and eroticism;
scabrous stories, bizarre, about myths, terror, fabulous creatures, sex and death.
The author, Claude Lalumière
Born in Montreal, he has resided later in multiple cities.
In addition to the owner and administrator of the Montreal bookstores Nebula danger !, and Nemo from 1989 to 1998, he is an internationally recognized writer and this is demonstrated by his career.
In 2011 he was guest writer and lecturer in "World-Building: The Logic of Science, Fiction and Fantasy" at the University of Oslo, Norway and in 2016 one of the 21 international fiction writers exhibited at the Serbian Short Story Festival "Kikinda Short 11: The New Deal ".
In addition, this month he has been one of the two Canadian literary guests of honor at DeepCon 19 in Fiuggi, Italy.
