Posts of animal-friendly products, vegan food, live music and talks will take place on Saturday, April 28, on the occasion of the celebration of the II Vegan Fair "Alma Vegan Cartagena Festival", which will take place in the Parque de la Rambla, known as Parque Vallejo Alberola.
The event is organized by the InfoVegano Association with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, through the Department of Commerce.
The councilor of the Commerce Department, María del Carmen Martín, attended the presentation;
the president of the Asociación InfoVegano Cartagena, Santiago Carrasco González, and the owner of Ecobio, your herbalist, Juana María Bernal.
From 10:00 am in the morning of next Saturday, April 28, you can enjoy multiple activities that will bring the vegan culture as a way of life to the municipality of Cartagena.
For this, there will be talks, live music and tastings of vegan food, with which "it is intended to turn this fair into a reference event and Cartagena in a pioneering city to support the vegan initiatives", remarked the mayor of Commerce , María del Carmen Martín.
More than 56 participants among associations, animal protectors, vegan restaurants and herbalists, will attend the event, which will be active until midnight on Saturday.
The president of the Asociación InfoVegano Cartagena, has detailed the programming of activities that will happen throughout the day.
The talk of Samuel Guerrero, "Species, magical speciesism ... who are the masters of the universe ?, the origin of oppression towards non-human animals", is expected to be a successful participation as happened in the previous edition.
In addition, the whole day will be enlivened with live music by groups such as Karmacadabra, who will perform on the main stage starting at 8:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen tent you can attend the Vegan Desserts workshop taught by Ahmor José and the Vegan Japanese Cuisine Show, by chef Layn Cano.
"With these workshops is intended that people know and enjoy the food and vegan products," said Juana María Bernal.
As indicated by the mayor of Commerce, this activity is not designed and proposed only for those who have already adopted this way of life, but so that all concerned can learn more about this reality.
