Young people, who must be unemployed enrolled in Youth Guarantee, will expand their options to develop their career in companies in the region that are committed to internationalization
A total of 25 young people will be able to train in Cartagena as agents of international trade thanks to a course organized by the Regional Service of Employment and Training (SEF) and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), whose term is already open.
This training action, called 'International trade: management and operations in foreign trade and international logistics', is aimed at under 30s enrolled in the Youth Guarantee program.
The main objective of the course is that these young people can develop their professional trajectory in companies of the Region that bet for the internationalization, and more specifically in productive sectors with wide roots in Cartagena, such as the chemical or manufacturing industry.
Those interested can register on the web enabled by the EOI.
The students will be trained in fundamental aspects to effectively shape the commitment of a company to open markets, such as different internationalization strategies;
the sources of information of international markets;
the forms of collaboration with collaborators at the destination;
international and digital marketing for internationalization, as well as logistics and financial management of export and import operations.
The course is scheduled to begin its activity in mid-May and to last until July with a total of 205 teaching hours.
Enrollment is completely free for students, thanks to the fact that this training program is co-financed by the European Social Fund and is part of the agreement developed between the EOI and the SEF for the training of young people in strategic areas of the Region.
Said agreement is endowed with 950,000 euros.
The general director of the SEF, Alejandro Zamora, remarked that "this type of course is especially useful in view of the positive scenario that exports are currently experiencing in the Region of Murcia." International trade is in vogue and knowledge in this field, together with a good command of other languages, they are very appreciated by companies when it comes to contracting. "
