A group of 24 Cartagena representatives of various social and business groups have held an informal meeting with the aim of promoting and recovering cultural and tourism events in the municipality, which moved the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez Noguera.
Among the proposals presented at the meeting, which took place in Tomás Martínez Pagán's winery, are projects related to the Golden Age, a National Marches Contest for Holy Week, Spoon Cooking Days, the 'Rosa Women's Trophy' de Plata ', the Wine Fair of Cartagena and the Region, or the Innovation Day of Graphene and Hospitality.
Likewise, the concern was addressed to recover activities that have been held previously in the Comarca, such as the Cartagenera of the Year Award, the Literary Call of Holy Week, the meeting Cartageneros Ausentes and the Cartagena-La Unión Belenista Association.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Hostecar, the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, Cartagena Proposal, Asaja Campo de Cartagena, Association of Graphene, Official College of Journalists, Cartagena Avanza, Isidoriana Foundation, Real Sociedad Economica de Cartagena, Association Cartageneros Ausentes, Centro de Initiatives and Tourism, Veteran Infantry Federation, Siglo de Oro Collective, and Cartagena Diario.
Finally, it was agreed to create working committees, based at the Royal Economic Society of Cartagena, in order to present and coordinate projects with the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena.
