The Council of Youth of the City of Cartagena organized on Tuesday, April 17, a multinational and multilingual gathering to commemorate the Day of Europe.
The activity was included in Babel, from the Bolsa de Idiomas program of this Department.
Cartagena commemorates the Day of Europe, which is celebrated on May 9, with a month full of activities scheduled in the first edition of the MESdeEUROPAjuventudCARTAGENA.
Among the activities was the multinational and multilingual gatherings.
The purpose of this meeting was to inform its participants more information about the European Union and about those that unite us as European citizens.
This gathering was attended by Jakob, Sophie and Dori, residents of Cartagena, who come from Hungary, Belgium and Germany and who are currently participating in the European Voluntary Service project.
The kids energized the activity by holding a question and answer contest.
The volunteers are carrying out their project in our city thanks to the Erasmus + European Commission program.
