With the final of the piano modality, last Tuesday, April 17, the concert cycle of the contest 'Between Strings and Metals', in its XXI edition, ended.
The young piano players interpreted their pieces demonstrating their virtuosity in the interpretation of the works presented in the contest for this final phase.
The large audience concentrated in the auditorium of the Conservatory of Cartagena could enjoy listening to works by: Chopin, Albéniz, Mozart, Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Ravel.
The members of the jury Antonio Agustín González Hidalgo, Abraham Mateos Gallego and Víctor Rodríguez García were in charge of choosing the winners in this piano modality.
With this end, the auditions of all the contestants this year are concluded.
From the Department of Youth, organizers, together with the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena, of this contest of Classical Music for Young Performers of the Region of Murcia, have said that in this edition "it is becoming clear that each year they overcome, we feel proud to be witnesses of so much talent in our region. "

At the Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony that will take place at the El Batel Auditorium on May 4, where the jury's decision of all the specialties convened will be made public.
The event will feature the performances of the winners of the piano mode of the contest Between Strings and Metals from other editions such as: Cristina Sánchez Gómez (I prize XV Edition 2012), Paula Puche Bernal (I award XVI Edition 2013) and Víctor Amaya Avellaneda (I prize XX Edition 2017)
The Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m. with free admission until full capacity is reached.
