The concessionary company of the urban transport service of Cartagena, ALSA, will triple, since Monday, April 16, the expeditions to El Algar.
From now on, the Cartagena-El Algar route that was operating with line 16 CARTAGENA - ROCHE - EL ALGAR will be operated with line 20 CARTAGENA - LA MANGA.
In this way, in winter, services are almost doubled, from 37 to 62 expeditions from Monday to Sunday, which represents an increase of 167.56%.
In summer almost quadruplicans services from 30 to 118 expeditions from Monday to Sunday, so the increase will be 393.33%.
In fact, in the whole of the year, we go from 67 expeditions to 180 expeditions from Monday to Sunday, services increase by 268.65%, almost tripling.
This improvement has been possible thanks to the firm commitment of the councilor of the Municipal Services area, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, so that both lines will be lent by the concessionaire company with the consequent improvement of the service for the neighbors of El Algar.
In this sense, Torralba has explained that the objective was to respond to a historical claim of El Algar.
"It will allow them to improve their work and family reconciliation in important journeys such as those that facilitate the incorporation to the work centers at the first hour, to the hospital centers, and even to encourage the neighbors of Cartagena to enjoy in order to week of the cultural, commercial and gastronomic offer of the deputation of El Algar, whose maximum expression is reflected in the Apolo Theater, "he said.
The greater incidence of the improvements in this service will be in summer "because we want to give an important boost to all the catering and commerce of El Algar that will benefit from tourists from all the Mar Menor, and from La Manga and Cabo. of Palos have a very complete service that will encourage them to come to the Algar also in summer. CONNECTION WITH THE WEST AREA
