The residents of Galifa already have a new playground at the sports center.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, inaugurated last Friday these renovated facilities, accompanied by the Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba.
The work has been carried out by the Municipal Board of Perín, which has made an investment of 18,887 euros.
The works consisted in the extension of the area from 121.65 meters to 161.25, the installation of new playgrounds and repairs to the swings that already existed, as well as native trees, a fence that delimits the facilities and installed a rubber floor continued for greater safety of children who come here to play.
It should be noted that all playgrounds that have been projected in the Participatory Budgets have been designed to meet the security requirements necessary to obtain the mandatory certification of an accredited company.
The mayor thanked the Neighborhood Board for their tireless efforts to improve the quality of life of the residents of this council
