To the filth of the procedures, a possible risk for the population is now joined
As is well known, the scarcity of water in our region causes that, more and more, the Commonwealth of the Taibilla Canals (MCT) resorts to the desalination water, which arrives through pipes that provide it with iron (soluble and not soluble).
As for the municipal network, which maintains and retains the concessionaire, there are old sectors with metal flanges and even lead connections, this being a heavy metal.
The result is that in various areas of the municipality, most of them near the deposits and outlets of the MCT, the water is appreciated with a yellow tone, generating a huge concern among citizens who find their consumption inadvisable.
In the face of the doubts raised by this situation, MC programmed, through the municipal laboratory, additional controls to those of Hidrogea, which the current heads of the local government have eliminated from their draft budget for 2018.
Therefore we are able to say that 'Caostejón' and the PSOE little or nothing care about the quality of water or the health of citizens, since they have eliminated a game of more than € 300,000 to leave in the hands of the concessionaire these analysis.
It is an imprudence that MC wants to denounce and brings to the attention of all citizens, who pay their receipt in which the concessionaire includes doubtful concepts in exchange for water that arrives yellow to their homes and, of course, they do not dare to consume.
That is why we demand that once 'Caostejón' has its photo of the pyrrhic descent of the water, it is interested in the quality of it and the health of the neighbors and, immediately, demand the extraordinary controls that proceed and make public all the results
The socialist disability is going too far and in addition to breaking the rules and give in to the concessionaire, now generates a great social unrest for not working for the benefit of the general interest and health of citizens and yes, of course.
That is why we will demand an explanation and concrete measures at the next plenary session.
If you do not offer them to the citizens or they are unsatisfactory, we will study other legal ways because the health of the people of Cartagena is at stake.
