The next Monday, April 16, at 7:00 pm will take place in the Military Historical Museum of Cartagena, the inauguration of the Spain Exhibition in Red and Gualda, organized by the Institute of Military History and Culture.
It is a collection of historical flags of Spain of the last five centuries, from the Catholic Monarchs, which will visit several Spanish cities.
The exhibition will be in our city from April 16 to May 12 and may be visited from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The City Council of Culture, Education and Youth of the City of Cartagena, David Martínez Noguera, is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony.
With it we want to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the promulgation of the Royal Decree of October 13, 1843 by which Isabel II ordered banners flags and rosettes adopt the colors red and yellow.
The flags are replicas of those that are exhibited permanently in the Assembly Hall of the Military History and Culture Institute of the Spanish Army in Madrid.
