The finalists of 'Entre Cuerdas y Metales' in the modality of Chamber Music, enjoyed the large audience that gathered on the afternoon of this Thursday, April 12, at the Auditorium of the Music Conservatory of Cartagena, to attend the end of this category.
Four groups of young interpreters belonging to the Conservatories of Murcia and Cartagena are competing for the "Chamber Music" prizes, a modality that was included in the contest in the last edition.
The Jury, composed on this occasion by Jennifer García Soto, Leonardo Martínez Cayuela and Pedro Martínez García, decided during the event the winning group of this modality, which will be invited to play in the Closing of the next edition of the contest, in 2019. In addition , it was determined who will be the winners of the different prizes that are chosen in this category.
The jury's decision will be announced in the Closing Ceremony of the XXI edition of the regional classical music competition, which will take place on May 4 at the Batel Auditorium, at 8:00 p.m.
GROUPS AND MUSICIANS WHO DISPUTES THE FINAL
José Jiménez Alarcón and Alberto Nsí Gámez played the clarinet at the Conservatorio de Murcia.
The interpreters of the Conservatory of Cartagena were: María Conesa Vidal, clarinet;
Ana Ros Hernández, transverse flute, Pablo Bernal Pozo, oboe;
Javier García Bas, bassoon and Paula Cerdán Brau, horn.
In the third group, also from the Conservatory of Cartagena, the musicians played the saxophone: Ana María Conesa Hernández;
Gonzalo Nicolás Redondo Gómez;
Adrián José Carreto Crespo and Enrique Donayo Gómez.
From the Conservatory of Murcia, saxophonists also attended this final: Andrea Sánchez Vidal;
Rosa Cánovas Pallarés;
Javier Rubio Romero and Ana Alarcón Navarro.
