The professors of astronomy of the UPCT, Juan Ortega and Pedro Gómez, along with three students of his tutoring, offered the Senior Hiking group of the Department of Social Services a talk on 'The impact of light pollution on health'.
The activity was held on Wednesday, April 11 at the Faculty of Sciences of the company CIM.
After the afternoon, the participants walked to the battery of San Leandro, where they had the opportunity to observe several planets and the passage of the International Space Station by Cartagena at about 9:30 p.m.
A small trip, half astronomical, half mythological by the constellations and the characters they represent, where the walkers actively participated and fully enjoyed this enriching activity.
