The past 9, 10 and 11 April has been held the preliminary phase of the V Intercross Municipal Athletics League, which will have its final phase on Thursday, April 19.
Eight have been the classified educational centers that will be the faces in the Municipal Track of Athletics, scene of this sporting event.
The Municipal Athletics League is organized by the Department of Sports, within the ADE Program and the Athletics Club Elcano, with the collaboration of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Club UCAM Cartagena.
This activity is part of the School Sports Program developed by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.

The final will begin with a parade through the track of all the classified educational centers, upon arriving at the area where the flag is installed, the Olympic flag will be hoisted and manifestos will be read by the athletes and judges.
The day will end with awards ceremony.
At the sporting event, about 400 athletes, born in 2006 and 2007, participated in the men's and women's categories.
Municipal Athletics League Intercentros is an activity that aims to bring the practice of athletics, and the sensations in competition, to young Cartagena.
It also aims to promote the values ​​inherent in this sporting field and support the promotion of base athletics.
