The Vice Chancellor of Research at the Catholic University of San Antonio, Estrella Núñez, was in charge of picking up the Gold Medal yesterday that the Academy of Pharmacy Santa María de España has awarded to the UCAM.
At the ceremony, held at the Regional Assembly, the president of the Academy stressed the close collaboration of the UCAM with this institution, and recalled the donation by the president of this university, José Luis Mendoza, the pastry chef with the coat of this Academy of the Region, which presided over the act of yesterday.
The reception of this recognition was made in the act of admission as Mª Rocío Álvarez López's number academic and awards ceremony and awards from the Academy.
The event was also attended by the head of Institutional Relations of the UCAM in Cartagena, José Acuña, and professors of the Degrees in Pharmacy and Medicine of the Catholic University.
