The damages caused by the strong gusts of wind have only been material, mainly by obstacles in the road, landslides of sheets, falls of branches of trees, and of objects between which was a portable swimming pool fallen from a terrace of a house to public roads.
The agents also intervened in 2 brush fires, an oil stain, and the opening of a house, because an older woman had fallen inside and could not get up on her own.
Cartagena has been the municipality of the entire Region of Murcia where there have been more incidents caused by the episode of strong winds and which were attended from the Emergency Coordination Center 1-1-2 Murcia.
The State Meteorological Agency had issued for Tuesday April 10, on the coast of Cartagena, an 'orange alert' from 20:00 hours, by winds of force 7 to 8, with gusts of up to 90 km / h , and waves of up to four meters.
