MC Cartagena, through its acting member in the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores, Rafael Rodriguez, has sent written to the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, so that the vice president of the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores, belonging to the PSOE, convened, within a maximum period of 10 days, the Plenary to determine the new organizational structure of the board regarding the chair and spokespersons.
It is worth remembering that, on February 7, the one who was president of the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores since October 23, 2015, Antonio Martínez, resigned from his position for personal reasons.
After almost two months, the new presidency has not yet been appointed, despite the fact that a Plenary was scheduled for March 20, which was suspended by the vice president, representative of the PSOE.
Rafael Rodríguez states in his letter "the lack of decision of the current vice president to convene the corresponding plenary session that incorporates the rest of the members pending taking office."
It also states "that the organization chart of the Neighborhood Council itself has not yet been structured with the election of the president and spokespersons of the different groups."
This situation has led, in the words of Rodriguez, that "the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores, composed of different neighborhoods with an important and high census of neighbors and territoriality, is the lack of administrative management from this decentralizing municipal authority competent in small works and services for its inhabitants. "
MC wants the PSOE, this time yes, respect the agreements and not emulate the behavior of Ana Belén Castejón in the municipal government of Cartagena.
At the beginning of the legislature, MC and PSOE reached an understanding for the management of different neighborhood committees (Los Dolores, Molinos Marfagones, Alumbres and Perín), so, according to Rafael Rodríguez, "the PSOE must choose between continuing with its habitual practice, that is, missing the given word or fulfill, even for once, with their commitments.
In the same way, from the Cartagena formation it is expected that the new presidency will follow the line of good management promoted by the outgoing president, Antonio Martínez, in joint work with the also vocal of MC, María Bernarda Ferrer.
During his responsibility, the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores has been signified by his effective work and a policy of optimization of resources.
This serious and rigorous work has made it possible to achieve a high level of execution of the budget allocated for each year and to carry out a significant number of actions in infrastructure, buildings, maintenance of parks and gardens, as well as to meet the demands of the different groups social, cultural or sports activities and contribute to the objectives set by these entities.
