In relation to the rescue by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Cartagena-Vera highway and the brake on the project of the third lane between Murcia and Alicante, the president of MC Cartagena, Jesús Giménez, has stated that "discrimination against the Comarca del Campo de Cartagena by the central and regional governments ".
Giménez recalled that "in this case, from April 1, we paid the State to use the Cartagena-Vera, because after rescuing it, the PP has preferred to continue paying, this is the recipe they have for our inhabitants."
"This is how the budding capitalism that promotes the PP works, now they look for another formula of public and private collaboration so that citizens continue to pay companies through the third lane between Murcia and Alicante," he said.
The Cartagena leader pointed out that "such is the case that Montoro has realized that hundreds of millions of euros of the administered must pass some kind of filter rather than giving it away, as the PP does, which is why he has stopped these contracts" .
Giménez has reported that "we must not forget that the AP-7 is underutilized, as we have been denouncing, in the stretch between Cartagena and Alicante, and only eliminating the toll, the inhabitants of the Shire and tourists would not resort to transit through Murcia being unnecessary the third lane, therefore, the work and negotiate that even Montoro worries ".
